A brief video of Comma is online at http://ww.poetryvideo.com/ (Click on "poets" in the Select bar, then click on Comma in the poets list.) It looks like what we gave them exceeded the capabilities of the RealPlayer encoder, so it's probably the noisiest thing we've done yet, but it's fun. You'll need to install the RealPlayer to see it. If you don't have it already, you can get it from http://www.real.com/ (The free player does just fine; you don't have to get the $30 one to see this.) There's also a video of my solo work online there. poetryvideo.com will soon be carrying the Comma (voices) CD. They have secure credit-card ordering up and running. They also have in stock my book "Shekhinah: the Presence". The site is under construction, so there are a few display kinks, but resident database/design genius Tim Wood is working round the clock on tweaking it, and the site gets better and better each time I visit it. The Metatron Press web site ( http://www.metatronpress.com/ ) is continually expanding, with about a dozen MP3 recordings, and a nearly-complete Comma performance history. (An aside: It's surprising, after only about a year in action, how difficult some of this historical info is to find. We were inspired by the recent excellent book "Merce Cunningham: Fifty Years" to start collecting this information online, and it's a challenge... but we're pulling the info together, and hope to maintain it as a solid archive. So if anyone wants to do a doctoral dissertation on us in future years, the data will be there *grin*) On Friday and Saturday, February 12 and 13, Tom Bickley will be performing his score to the dance work "The Edge of Uncertainty" with the helanius j. wilkins/DIMENSIONS dance company at the Merce Cunningham Studios, 55 Bethune Street, NYC. There's more information (including Tom's essay about the score) at http://www.artswire.org/tbickley/edge.html What else... A reminder: anyone subscribed to the comma mailing list can post to it (though the comma-announce list is for announcements only), so we welcome your feedback and discussion. That's all for now...
