The title of the work translates into English as "of angels" or "of the angels." This nine section vocal piece begins and ends with chant from the western church tradition. The other movements focus on the angels mentioned in I Enoch 20, and their attributes and responsibilities described there. The performers signal the beginning of each section except VI. Sariel by striking a meditation chime. The first performance was on 19 November 1997 at the labyrinth at the Church of the Epiphany in Washington, DC.
